To date, the Ronald McDonald House has not received any state funding. Everything we do is entirely dependent on the incredible support and generosity of our families, our volunteers and our corporate partners. It takes all of their extraordinary commitment to keep our doors open and provide our families with the support and basic facilities they need every day.

The new Ronald McDonald House will cost an estimated €20 million to build and equip. The House Love Will Build campaign has been launched to raise the final €10 million by 2023.
By donating to help build the new House, you will be making a profoundly important and lasting difference to thousands of families. Your support will make it possible for parents of critically ill children to have the time to comfort their children when they need it most.
All services are currently operating with precautionary measures in place to help protect our staff and our families. Our door never closed during the lockdown, and we are still operating as normal to care for our families and keep them close to their sick child in Crumlin. With all our fundraising events cancelled or postponed for the foreseeable, we have had to adapt hugely to raise money to ensure we can continue to provide a home away from home for many families and meet the deficit we are currently facing of circ. €500,000

If our new home is not ready in time, the parents and siblings of critically ill children will not be able to be together and stay close to their sick child. It is impossible to understand just how devastating that could be for a family.
Construction on the New Children’s Hospital has already begun.
The new hospital will open in 2023.
It is crucial that the new Ronald McDonald House is completed before the new hospital opens.
As soon as the new hospital opens the most seriously ill children from all over the country will immediately be transferred there for life-saving treatment. It is essential that their families be able to access specialised accommodation within the hospital grounds.
